Efficiency Maine is offering heat pump rebates up to $9,000.

Low-income

  • $3,000 per rebate eligible outdoor unit up to a lifetime limit of $9,000 in heat pump rebates per housing unit.
  • Household member participates in MaineCare, HEAP, SNAP, or TANF.

Moderate-income

  • $2,000 per rebate eligible outdoor unit up to a lifetime limit of $6,000 in heat pump rebates per housing unit.
  • Homeowner’s Adjusted Gross Income is up to $70,000 for individual, or $100,000 for joint tax filers.

Any-income

  • $1,000 per rebate eligible outdoor unit up to a lifetime limit of $3,000 in heat pump rebates per housing unit.
